AGA Side Game Info!

We love the classic 18 hole round of tournament golf, but sometimes you just want a little more.
Whether you’re having a lousy day on the course or are just looking for some added excitement,
AGA TOUR side games can give you some additional reasons to enjoy this great game of golf!

Par 3 Package (Members Only)

The Par 3 Package is a $10 side game offered at TOUR Series events. It is comprised of at least 2, and sometimes 3, separate games.

Destiny Travel Hole in One: AGA members, Eddie Fields and Brad Keeter are putting up seed money to fund a Hole in One pot for TOUR Series events. To get in on the action, players must participate in the new Par 3 Package. $5 of player’s entry adds to the fund.  All active members are eligible to win.  New members are eligible for 50% of the pot until they have paid to play in 10 events.
We have already had four winners – one in 2014 and three in 2015!

Destiny Travel Hole In One Pot: $9450!

Royal Oak King of the Par 3s: All participants in the Par 3 Package will be eligible for the Royal Oak King of the Par 3s, and the winner will be determined by the par 3 shot closest to the hole. $5 of the Par 3 Package entry funds the pot which will be paid out after each tournament.

Closest to the Pin: Closest to the Pin competitions will continue be offered at TOUR Series events as provided by sponsors,
but you must participate in the Par 3 Package to be eligible.

Legends Long Putt Challenge

Each 2016 TOUR Series event includes entry into The Remax Legends Long Putt Challenge at no additional cost. The Long Putt Challenge is sponsored by AGA member David Elrod of Remax Legends. At each TOUR Series event, a hole will be selected to be the “long putt” hole. Every player will be able to measure the distance of the putt on this hole. The longest putt will earn the winner a $50 payout.

Skins Games

Flight Skins: A $20 Flight Skins game will be conducted at all TOUR Series events. Skins will be paid out after all flight scores have been turned in. Skins are calculated by looking at those players’ scores who have paid into the game (per flight) and determining the lowest, unique score per hole (skin). The total number of skins is added up, and the pot ($20*the number of players participating in the game) is divided by the number of skins to get the payout.

Super Skins: A $10 Super Skins game will be conducted at all TOUR Series events. Skins will be paid out after all scores have been turned in.  Skins are calculated by looking at those players’ scores who have paid into the game (across all flights) and determining the lowest, unique score per hole (birdie or better). The total number of skins is added up, and the pot ($10*the number of players participating in the game) is divided by the number of skins to get the payout.
