Are you ready to win some money?! After a successful first season, the AGA TOUR is again conducting a season-long challenge similar to the PGA TOUR Kodak Challenge. This is a cumulative score for the year where every AGA TOUR Series event counts toward obtaining your best 18 hole score to win. Prizes will be awarded in 3 combined flights.
Once again, thanks to our awesome sponsors, there is no cost for this competition - it is a fun and exciting benefit of being a member of the AGA TOUR!
Prizes
are as follows:
$500 for first place, $300 for second, and $200 for third.
Rules
1 hole per 9 (2 total for 18 holes) will be selected to be the Destiny Travel Challenge holes each tournament
Everyone starts out at 0, or par, for every hole. Only holes that help your score will count. If a birdie was made and replaced the par, that would drop your score 1 stroke, etc. Your best 18 holes will count toward your score.
Only scores in relation to par will count (actual strokes don't matter ~ a 5 on par 5 is same as a 3 on par 3) - Birdie=-1; Eagle=-2; Double Eagle=-3
3 Flights will be used (Combined TOUR Series Flights 1&2, 3&4, 5&Net)
This competition adds excitement to the TOUR Series, and, just like the Bulova Accutron Watch the Season points pages, there are pages showing the Destiny Travel Challenge results after every event so you can see where you stand. You only need to play one event to be eligible, although the more holes you play, the better chance of helping your score and winning the money! For multi-day events, every round will have 2 holes, so for our Florida event, for instance, you will have 6 total holes to try and improve your score.
