Seniors

In the AGA, a Senior is defined to be any player who is 50 or over at any time during the calendar year. Seniors have the option to play in the flight determined by their index with the yardages specified by the flight, or they may play in the Net Flight for TOUR Series events which is a handicapped flight and plays yardages of 6300 or less.  In Players and Hardcore series, seniors have the option to play a tee box that is 6300 yards or less as well.

When registering for an event, a Senior will need to specify if they would like to compete from the shorter tees. For TOUR Series events, all points accumulated while playing in the Net Flight will remain in the Net Flight and will not move to the index-determined Flight if the player decides to play in both flights during the season. This is to prevent players from trying to accumulate points in the Net Flight to take back with them to their index-determined Flight.

If the Force Move rule applies to a Senior who has been playing the shorter tees, the Senior will not be moved to another flight, but will have a handicap adjustment as described in the Flighting Rules.
